The purpose of the Austin High School PTSA is to promote the comprehensive educational and civic development of all Austin High School students by augmenting cooperation between our students, teachers, and parents through altruistic and financial means.

AUSTIN HIGH PRINCIPAL APPOINTED
Trustees on Monday appointed Lucio Calzada, the interim principal at Garcia Middle School, to fill the vacant Austin High School principal post. Calzada became interim principal at Garcia this school year after serving as principal at Fulmore Middle School from 2001 to 2007. He also has worked in the Corpus Christi and Kingsville school districts. Calzada will replace John Hudson, who is leaving Austin High to take a position with a regional education service center.
